Just took the Glacier Express, a special train that uses rack-and-pinions and cogwheels to get up grades as steep as 12%. I jumped on for the portion between Brig and Chor. Both towns might actually be fairytale kingdoms. Chor is the oldest town in Switzerland at 5,000 years of habitation. Now I’m writing a blog post and listening to weird techno at a bierhaus here.
